Download the two bitmaps, arrup and arrdown, and the wish script, tkppp.
Put them all in /usr/local/bin. Then you can run tkppp by typing "tkppp &"
at the command prompt in an xterm. (You may have to type
"/usr/local/bin/tkppp &").
Press the arrow icon to connect; press it again to disconnect. Use the
Run menu to see the ppp communications if you wish (hit Ctrl-C to get out
of that).
You'll no doubt want to add tkppp to your GUI menus, if you like it. To
do this with RedHat 5, try putting the file tkppp.wmconfig from here in
place as /etc/X11/wmconfig/tkppp Then on restarting the window manager you
should see an entry for tkppp (or PPP) under the Utilities menu - if I've
understood correctly the info that Dave Lawrence provided.
