dougherty.zip contains all but one of the data files from the Introduction 
to Econometrics site at the LSE

(The exception is the "Demand function time series data set" which is only 
available in Eviews format.)

* Where Stata .dta files were available, these were converted to
  comma-separated using gnu R ( http://www.r-project.org/ )

* Where only Lotus-123 files were available, they were converted to
  comma-separated values using ssconvert, the spreadsheet conversion
  tool supplied with Gnumeric ( http://www.gnome.org/projects/gnumeric/ )

* The CSV files were then converted to gretl format using the
  command-line program, gretlcli, in batch mode

Education and earnings cross-section data sets, which were missing
the variable "S".
